Sharing The Journey
Finding a new space to share ideas, philosophies and thoughts on Tech, Art, Culture and Society.
The Space For Everything
I accumulated a backlog of writing on a diverse set of topics that I want to share with the world. On art, animation, tech, startups, AI, building companies, hiring, design, company cultures and more.
Everything is connected, but at the same time these topics were always too loose to fit into the same “publication” as it is on Substack.
This — right here — is the publication where I want to share these thoughts. They might at some point go back to my personal site again though. Since, it’s really hard here to semantically organize these things, by topics, areas, tags.
Where I’ve Written Before
I also have a publication where I write about my creative journey in animation The Inspired Animator. I try to keep that one more focused on animation itself.
That’s why it wasn’t updated for a while. I was back in the tech world and haven’t done much in terms of animation.
For a long time Twitter was my number one space to validate ideas, launch products, announce projects, or just occasionally get some thoughts out into the universe. Twitter is pretty much dead for me to share any kind of ideas. It’s really hard to get any kind of productive discourse there. And the only time there is any visibility is if you write something divisive.
Additionally, X is lead by a person I can’t endorse, and any organic reach died since the premium checkmark subscription model became a thing. I also had some automations and tools running on the Twitter API, which all died when the X API got an insane pricing model.
For long form writing I was jumping between Medium, Substack and at some point my own blog.
Medium, right now, is also a terrible place to read. It puts all kinds of roadblocks in your way before you can actually get to the content you want to read. And even Substack does this to some degree. But at least it still have some discoverability.
Sailing to New Waters
If you’re interested in what I’m up to join me here to read my thoughts on different topics.
Here are a collection of things I am currently interested in:
In The Now

Current Fascinations:
AI programming and utilization
→ How to build great stuff with AI at scale.
→ How to bootstrap exciting projects quickly (experimentation and prototyping)
→ How to utilize LLMs, and multimodal AIs to solve previously hard to solve problems
Starting a Nonprofit Org for organizing intercultural events for mind, body and soul!
Now that Erika and I have a greater space that we can use commercially, I am eager to start organizing events like art gallery showings (for ourselves and other artists in Berlin), workshops or meetups on art, animation, tech, cooking, business and other topics that close to our heart!
I’d like to do it under an umbrella of some kind of organization or association to properly expense it and not just fund it from my private money. Even though I do plan donating to it, to fund it initially and over time. The goal is to create a space for interesting events and occasions to meet and build a community in Berlin, with the amazing people I know, and beyond.
The idea is currently still brewing and not ready to be started right away.
